Elegant Lodging provided by the V-Collection in Murphys California

In the heart of the California Gold Country, the town of Murphys is located in the central Sierra Nevada foothills between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park, in Calaveras County, California.

On historic downtown Main Street, The Victoria Inn was built 1992 in the “Miner’s Exchange” style, blending history with modern comfort. Each guest room at our Inn is an eclectic mix of wonderful European charm, featuring high ceilings and doors, in room heat and air conditioning, en-suite baths, some with fireplaces or wood stoves and claw-footed bathtubs.  We do not guarantee parking, it is open to the public and free with no limits to include the small lot on our property grounds.

Once visited by Mark Twain, Black Bart, and General Ulysses S. Grant, you can enjoy the Gold Country history of Calaveras County, while exploring award-winning area wineries, outstanding restaurants, and such activities as golf, tennis, fishing, hiking, gold panning, white water rafting, shopping, winter skiing at Bear Valley, and water skiing on New Melones Lake.
